IAU has a goal to be a vibrant Christian university that is committed to distinctively Christian beliefs, values and practices in accord with its mission and objectives. While the university is clear about its identity as a Christian university and its foundational convictions, IAU is intentionally committed to living out the faith and providing an example of Christian values and morality. IAU is strongly committed to guiding our students to become socially responsible, compassionate leaders by making an enduring impact on their communities.

IAU is an interdenominational university and embraces students of all faiths or no faith. The hope is to introduce Christian life and principles to those seeking a religious identity.

Main Campus

Los Angeles

IAU’s main campus is located in the heart of Los Angeles, not far from downtown and west L.A. This campus is conveniently accessible from the 10 and 101 freeways.

Los Angeles is a world center of business, international trade, entertainment, culture, media, fashion, science, technology, and education. It is home to renowned institutions covering a broad range of professional and cultural fields, and is one of the most substantial economic engines within the U.S. As the home base of Hollywood, it is known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World”, leading the world in the creation of motion pictures, television production, video games, and recorded music.

Satellite Campus

Orange County

IAU’s Orange County Satellite Campus in Irvine, CA, is approximately 42 miles south of the Los Angeles main campus. Irvine is known for its beautiful parks, friendly people, low crime, and great schools. For 16 years in a row, it’s been ranked as the safest U.S. city with a population of over 250,000, based on FBI data.

Orange County is the second most populous county in California, behind Los Angeles County. Orange County is home to entertainment and shopping attractions such as the Irvine Spectrum, South Coast Plaza, and The District at Tustin Legacy. The John Wayne Airport is conveniently less than three miles away.

Satellite Campus

San Diego

IAU’s San Diego Satellite Campus is located in downtown San Diego in the old courthouse. Located only minutes from the airport, San Diego’s thriving urban center offers an abundance of options for accommodations, activities, dining, and cultural attractions, all easily accessible by foot, bike, car or public transportation.

IAU is partnering with California Language Academy, an ESL school with over 300 students. As such, the facility is built out for postsecondary education with standard classroom furniture and equipment. The facility includes a classroom, and IAU is additionally permitted to share the breakroom and lounge. WiFi is available throughout the facility.

International Satellite Campus

Kathmandu, Nepal

IAU’s Nepal Satellite Campus, Model Institute of Technology (MIT), is located in Kathmandu Valley, surrounded by Himalayan mountains, at an elevation of 4,344 feet. The city is known for its ancient temples, golden pagodas, natural beauty, and fascinating villages. Kathmandu is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world, founded in the 2nd century AD.

Managed by Kathmandu Model College (KMC), with over two decades of proud educational history and an enrollment of more than 13,000 students in various programs, MIT offers in-demand courses with state-of-the-art facilities and services. The institute is exemplary in attracting students and applying innovative approaches to transform the community by producing socially responsible leaders with a sustainable future.

Sat-Sun 6:00 AM – 12:00 AM: $5 flat rate at parking office, $3 with IAU validation ticket
Security Service: 24 hr.

OPTION 2: PARKING STRUCTURE @ 3611 WILSHIRE BLVD.
Public Parking, St. Basil’s Church
Mon-Sat 7:30 AM – 10:30 PM: $6 flat rate

OPTION 3: PARKING STRUCTURE @ 3550 WILSHIRE BLVD.

NOTE: Option 1 is located behind the building, entrance on Mariposa Ave. Options 2 and 3 are a block away from IAU and is less than 5 minutes walking distance.

Main Campus Parking Structure
5:00 PM – 10:00 PM: $3

PROCEDURE:

  1. Obtain a ticket from the ticket machine at parking gate and park vehicle.
  2. Following your visit to IAU, purchase your parking validation for $3 at Office of Accounting or pick up your prepaid online validation at the Office of Accounting.
  3. Return to your vehicle and insert the ticket and the validated ticket that you purchased at Office of Accounting. Exit the premises and have a great day!

Complimentary parking is available for all guests and students during regular hours of operations at the Orange County Satellite Campus location.

Limited complimentary parking is available for all guests and students during regular hours of operations. Public pay parking be found in an adjacent lot across Robinson Avenue. Street parking is also available.
