IAUSD’s new campus has opened in San Diego. This campus is conveniently located near the city center and coastal areas, easily accessible from the 5 and 805 freeways. San Diego is also a significant center for business, international trade, entertainment, culture, media, fashion, science, technology, and education. Renowned institutions operate here in various professional and cultural fields, making it one of the most important economic engines in the U.S. San Diego is famous for its world-class beaches and rich history and culture.

There is plenty of free street parking after 6 PM where you don’t have to pay. There is also a large parking lot next to the building, but you will have to pay to park there. It is recommended that you get there around 5:30 just to be familiar with the area.

OPTION 2: 550 West @ 550 W C St.

Monthly Pass: $220 Mon-Sun: 24 hr.

At IAUSD, we want to make sure that you have the real California experience, so we carefully screen our student residences and partner with fantastic companies to make your stay unforgettable.

Note: No refund after a booking is accepted. You may cancel your reservation for free/no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.

Homestays

We know that choosing the right accommodation option in California is important for your experience and for the success of your stay. One of the best ways to improve your English conversational skills and to learn about U.S.A., is to live with a local American homestay. You will be welcomed into their family and treated like you are part of the family! All of our homestays are managed in house and we are constantly looking for the best options for you!

At International American University (IAU), student leadership development is a cornerstone in supporting its students to become engaged citizens.  One of the primary means of student involvement is through Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs). RSOs at IAU are also responsible for many of the programs and events held on campus each year including social events, lectures, special events, cultural events, and conferences.
