The Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research supervises higher education in Jordan. The Ministry, represented by various departments, promotes the level of higher education in Jordan by verifying all the certificates issued by non-Jordanian institutions of higher education.
An examination was conducted of IAU’s accreditation by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), Candidate status with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), listing with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the School of Business and Graduate School of Management faculty, and the curriculum, mode of instruction, and academic rigor of its online business programs.
Dr. Mamoun M. Al-Debi’e, Secretary General, signed a letter that recognizes IAU’s online business programs. This means that Jordanians may study online and graduates may have an easier time demonstrating their qualifications when pursuing professional and educational opportunities in Jordan. Every country’s education system is different, so this type of official recognition can go a long way in ensuring that a degree earned from IAU is accepted.
