IAU has entered into an agreement with Harvard Business School (HBS) Online. This collaboration provides IAU students the opportunity to take courses from the world’s most prestigious university conveniently through IAU and receive credit. HBS Online courses use the proven Harvard Business School case study method and its innovative, participant-centered learning model with an edge-of-your-seat online environment that puts students at the center of the learning experience.
IAU will initially offer the Credential of Readiness (CORe). CORe is a business fundamentals program that combines Economics for Managers, Financial Accounting, and Business Analytics with a final exam. These courses may be taken and substituted for IAU’s MBA courses – ECN 500 Managerial Economics, ACC 500 Accounting for Managers, and a graduate-level elective, respectively. Courses taken through HBS will count as credit towards IAU’s certificate or degree completion. IAU students will receive a Certificate from Harvard Business School. From the 2019-2020 surveys and course data, the findings are fantastic; 93% added new skills to their resume, 84% feel better prepared for getting their MBA, and students reported an 86% satisfaction rating.
Unfortunately, students may not apply their scholarships or tuition waiver towards the HBS courses. However, they may pay the standard IAU graduate tuition rate for these three 3-semester hour courses and register to take the courses.
