I often tell young people that no matter where you begin in life, you should never stop learning, growing, or looking for ways to serve others. Receiving an Honorary Doctorate in Public Policy last year and an honorary professorship this year from International American University was certainly not the end of my educational journey. Rather, it is a reminder that our greatest responsibility is to use our knowledge for the benefit of our communities.

As IAU graduates begin their next chapter, I encourage them to lead with integrity, serve with humility, and never underestimate the difference that one person can make in the world.
