Launch of the Certificate of Paralegal Studies

IAU is pleased to announce the launch of its new Certificate of Paralegal Studies (CPLS) program under the School of Arts & Sciences in Fall 2026.

This program is designed to provide students with the foundational legal knowledge and practical skills necessary to support attorneys and legal professionals in a wide range of legal settings. The Certificate of Paralegal Studies will prepare students to assist with legal research, document preparation, case management, and the ethical responsibilities required in the legal profession.

The CPLS program combines academic instruction with practical, career-focused training to equip students with competencies that are highly valued in law firms, corporate legal departments, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

Consistent with IAU’s commitment to academic excellence and professional preparation, the program emphasizes critical thinking, legal analysis, professional responsibility, and effective communication.

IAU looks forward to welcoming students into this new program and contributing to the development of skilled professionals who will support the legal system and serve their communities with integrity.

At this time, the CPLS is unable to accept F-1 students. For information about admissions, visit https://iaula.edu/admreq. For information about CPLS program structure, visit https://iaula.edu/program/cpls or email [email protected].
