As part of its long-term international growth strategy, IAU proudly announces the expansion of its academic network into Europe with two new campuses: IAU Bordeaux, France (IAUBDX) and IAU Madrid, Spain (IAUMAD). This strategic achievement is a result of professional collaborative work in 2024-2025 on implementing the vision of accessible, Christian values-driven American higher education available to students on other continents.
IAU Bordeaux: American Education in the Heart of French Heritage
Set in Bordeaux, France – a city renowned for its historic wine culture, elegant architecture, and designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the new IAU Bordeaux Campus reflects IAU’s aspiration to offer world-class learning in socially and culturally vibrant settings. Bordeaux’s fusion of tradition, innovation, and cultural connectivity makes it a promising location for IAU’s European journey.
Following an on-site evaluation by Dr. Tanmay Pramanik, Vice President of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), IAU Bordeaux received official TRACS approval on November 17, 2025. The visit, hosted by Randry Glorieux, Campus President, and Ludovic Glorieux, Campus Director, highlighted the campus’ readiness to deliver IAU’s accredited programs with academic rigor and regional relevance.
IAU Madrid: A Gateway to Europe’s Economic and Cultural Capital
The second new campus is located in the heart of Madrid, Spain, right next to the iconic Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. IAU Madrid Campus (IAUMAD) extends IAU’s educational reach to one of Europe’s most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities. Known for its entrepreneurial spirit and academic excellence, Madrid provides a natural setting for IAU’s programs focused on global leadership, technology, and data-driven business innovation.
During the TRACS site visit on November 3, 2025, Campus President, Brian O’Hara, provided to Dr. Pramanik an overview of the campus facilities, academic plans, and student support model. The campus received Provisional TRACS approval, which is a key milestone on the pathway to approval from the Community of Madrid and to the campus’ official launch in Spain.
