
On July 12, 2025, International American University proudly hosted its most historic Commencement Ceremony to date, honoring the achievements of the largest graduating class in its 20-year legacy at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre . With a total of more than 300 graduates, the event marked a significant milestone for the university’s global academic community.
Held in a vibrant celebration attended by distinguished guests, including the Campus President of the new IAU’s San Jose Campus – Dr. Jeff Lo, the Campus President of IAU’s San Diego and Los Angeles Airport (LAX) Campuses – Hasan Altuntas, international dignitaries: the Campus President of IAU Mongolia – Enkhmurun Odgiiv, Ms. Mai from Vietnam, Dr. Adlan from SABI University, Canada, faculty members, and guest’s families, the audience witnessed an unforgettable moment in the University’s journey as it commemorated two decades of academic excellence and international impact.
The ceremony paid tribute to the unwavering spirit of this year’s graduates, who represent a wide spectrum of cultures, industries, and aspirations. IAU President Dr. Ryan Doan gave an inspiring speech to all honorable guests, reflecting on his personal commitment to the institution since 2005 and encouraging graduates to lead with passion and heart.
“This is the largest graduating class we’ve had – and the view from this stage is amazing,” he said, inviting students to thank their families and professors for their support.
“Go out there into the world with the same passion and vigor… but don’t forget to lead with your heart. Because leading with your heart is what makes you a Blue Eagle.” Congratulations, Class of 2025!”
