On August 29, 2025, IAU proudly marked its 20th Anniversary, highlighting two decades of providing accessible, quality education to the global student community. This milestone honors the university’s journey from its origins to a globally recognized educational entity, opening a gateway to success to thousands of people.
Founded in 2005 by inspired students who dreamed of making the world a better place for living, IAU was built on a vision to offer flexible and affordable education in the United States to those who dream big and strive for bigger professional peaks: international students and working professionals. From its Los Angeles headquarters, IAU has expanded nationwide and internationally by opening new campuses, partnering with numerous universities and hundreds of other educational entities worldwide, and earning a reputation as a globally recognized, credible educational body.
Being dedicated to its founding principles, IAU is always focused on the future. Together with optimistic vision and plans for further domestic and international expansion and diverse student body growth, the 20th anniversary celebration is both a reflection of the past years and a bold step into a future guided by the strength and sharp vision of a bald eagle – The Blue Eagle – official mascot of IAU. The eagle embodies the freedom and resilience that have defined IAU’s mission to provide a transformative education rooted in Christian principles.
