IAU Appoints New School of Business Leadership

IAU is pleased to announce two leadership appointments within its School of Business, reinforcing the university’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.

Dr. Jinan Ziade has been appointed Program Chair, MBA after serving with distinction as the Program Chair, Undergraduate Business. In her new role, Dr. Ziade will provide academic leadership for IAU’s MBA program, guiding curriculum development, faculty collaboration, and graduate student success. The MBA is IAU’s second largest program area, with 777 current students.

Since joining IAU, Dr. Ziade has played an instrumental role in strengthening undergraduate business education and advancing academic quality. She holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Information System Technology and an MBA, both from the University of Phoenix, along with a Graduate Executive Leadership Transformation Certificate in Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Management from Georgetown University.

An accomplished scholar and educator, Dr. Ziade has more than a decade of experience in higher education. She has led curriculum development initiatives, supervised graduate research, organized annual research symposiums, contributed to accreditation efforts, and mentored faculty across international academic programs. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.

Stepping into the role of Program Chair, Undergraduate Business is Dr. Vahick Yedgarian, who brings more than 20 years of international experience spanning higher education, finance, leadership, and investment management. Since joining IAU, Dr. Yedgarian has taught a wide range of business courses, including corporate finance, investments, economics, organizational leadership, and personal finance, earning recognition for his dedication to student learning and academic excellence.

Dr. Yedgarian holds a PhD in Global Business, Leadership and Sustainability from Northcentral University, along with graduate degrees in finance, psychology, business administration, and law. In addition to his academic career, he is an experienced investment strategist and portfolio manager whose professional expertise bridges theory and real-world business practice. His leadership experience and commitment to student success make him well positioned to lead IAU’s undergraduate business programs.

The university looks forward to the continued contributions of both Dr. Ziade and Dr. Yedgarian as they lead their respective programs and support the next generation of business professionals.
