F-1 Students Required to Return to Campus Classes Fall 2023

F-1 Students Required to Return to Campus Classes Fall 2023

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) enacted the Procedural Adaptation in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 national emergency, allowing modified attendance for F-1 students. However, SEVP plans to end the Procedural Adaptation on May 11, 2023. That means, IAU’s Fall 2023 class offerings will return to pre-COVID scheduling and F-1 students must comply with the full course of study requirements and campus class attendance.

Please note the following course requirements for all F-1 students, starting from Fall 2023 and so forth:

  • F-1 students in the undergraduate programs, which include Certificate of Accounting, and Certificate of Business, ASBA, and BBA programs will have to be enrolled in at least 3 hybrid courses while the rest can be online/video conference.
  • F-1 students in the graduate programs, which include MBA, MBA-BAn, MBA-MIS, and DBA programs will have to be enrolled in at least 2 hybrid courses while the rest can be online/video conference.

As always, IAU’s first concern on campus is the safety and health of its Blue Eagle community. Remember to not come to campus if you are not feeling well. Wash hands with soap frequently. Avoid touching your eyes, face, and mouth.  Maintain distance between yourself and others.
