IAU launched the Doctor of Management (DM) program in Summer Session 2, 2002. The program has been offered exclusively only online internationally. Although a new program, the DM already underwent a revamp spearheaded by Program Chair, Dr. Alex Sherm. The DM program has been restructured to be more of an executive seminar-style program. The admissions requirements screen for senior, C-suite executives. Its focus is on a roundtable discussion of experienced chief officers to tackle real, live problems and challenges within their own company.
IAU has recently received adjudication from the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) and is able to issue the Form I-20 for the new doctoral program. Since the DM is geared for senior, C-suite executives, it is likely that the online format will remain the more popular mode of instruction. However, the option to study on campus in Los Angeles is now available for those executives who wish to complete this new, growing program.
