IAU has received adjudication from the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) and is able to issue the Form I-20 for English language training. IAU will be offering an English as a Second Language (ESL) program for F-1 students this upcoming Fall 2023.
Along with ESL, IAU is able to offer Undergraduate and Graduate Pathway programs. The ESL certificate and Pathway programs are an excellent introduction to university studies in the United States. A Pathway Program, as defined by the U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) is, “A postsecondary program of study combining credit-bearing and developmental ESL coursework to prepare a student who is unable to meet the English proficiency standards for admission.” IAU’s Undergraduate Pathway and Graduate Pathway program combines English as a Second Language (ESL), college preparatory, and academic course work, which offers international students a path into degree programs at IAU. These programs typically last one academic year, depending on English placement level. Students who complete the Undergraduate Pathway or Graduate Pathway program are able to transition into the appropriate level degree program.
Students in the ESL and Pathway programs enjoy the same friendly student services as degree-seeking students at IAU. These include access to student IT support, Online Library, as well as the Writing Center.
English has become the language of international communication, especially in business. If you, a family member, or friend are interested in studying ESL at IAU, you can be assured of quality instruction at an affordable price and reasonable monthly payments at multiple locations.
