Student ID Card Services

IAU issues student ID cards upon enrollment. The official IAU ID card is non-transferable, remains the property of IAU, and expires when the holder is no longer affiliated with the university.

  • Students can download a digital copy of their ID card through myIAU.
  • First-time students are eligible to receive one physical ID card free of charge.
  • For students living abroad, a shipping fee applies.

Replacement cards are subject to an additional fee. See the Duplicate ID Card Request Form for details.

Student Enrollment / Degree Verification

IAU is committed to maintaining student records privacy in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

1

IAU shall provide verifications for all current and past students. All enrollment or degree verification requests are provided in writing. No enrollment or degree verification requests shall be provided verbally.

The release of enrollment or degree verification requires authorization from the student. This release can be in the form of IAU’s Verification Request or a third-party release form authorized by the student. Soft copy enrollment or degree verifications are free of charge, while printed official verifications require a fee. See current Schedule of Fees.

Current students can access all their enrollment information for free directly in myIAU. Students can print academic history and view current enrollment information.

All employers or third parties seeking Student Verifications for former OR current students of IAU, please email the Verification Request  to  [email protected]

2

Once the request is received by the Office of the Registrar, please allow 10 days for processing. You will receive a notice from the Office of the Registrar verifying your request. Questions can be directed to the Office of the Registrar, please.

Verifications will provide confirmation of registration and enrollment. Verifications DO NOT include individual course/grade/unit information, GPA, or class rank.

Alteration or Falsification of Academic Records

Please be aware that altering, creating, otherwise falsifying or tampering with university records, or otherwise misrepresenting one’s academic accomplishments, awards or credentials could result in University sanctions including dismissal or degree revocation, or legal action. This includes, but is not limited to, altering or creating an academic transcript or diploma, and unauthorized use of university documents including letterhead.

Transcripts

Registrar Service Hours:

Requests are processed Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), excluding holidays.

A transcript is an academic record that includes completed courses, grades received, semester credit hours earned, and cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

Transcripts are commonly required for admissions, immigration purposes, employment applications, professional licensing, and credential evaluations.

IAU offers both official and unofficial transcripts.

Official Transcript

Official transcripts are issued directly by the Office of the Registrar and delivered in a sealed envelope or through a secure electronic system to maintain their validity and integrity.

IAU has authorized Parchment Inc. to process transcript orders on behalf of the university. Parchment collects fees and forwards requests to the Office of the Registrar, where transcripts are produced and released. Parchment uses the highest security standards and complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Students may request an electronic or paper transcript via Parchment.

Electronic Transcript: The E-transcript is an official certified PDF sent securely from Parchment to the email address designated while placing the order. It includes the Registrar’s signature and the issue date.

E-transcripts are considered official when sent from Parchment directly to the designated email address.

Paper Transcript: A paper transcript is printed on secure paper and delivered by Parchment in a sealed envelope to the destination designated while placing the order. It includes the Registrar’s signature and the issue date.

Paper transcripts are considered official only if the envelope seal remains unbroken. If the seal is broken, the transcript is considered unofficial.

Students should request paper transcripts for immigration purposes.

Before Ordering Official Transcripts via Parchment
