TRACS Approves IAU Satellite Campus in UAE

As part of IAU’s post-COVID strategic plan to expand with international satellite campuses (iSatCam), IAU was successful in establishing international satellite campuses in Kathmandu, Nepal,  Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (IAUMN), and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (IAUHCM). Now, in 2025, IAU embarks on a new international satellite campus in Ras Al-Khaimah (RAK), United Arab Emirates (UAE).  IAURAK will be IAU’s most ambitious iSatCam for 2025.

TRACS Vice President of Institutional Compliance, Dr. Tanmay Pramanik, conducted the site visit on February 17-18, 2025. Ras Al-Khaimah is approximately 1 hour from Dubai. IAURAK is located at E311- Khalifa Bin Zayed City, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and is nestled between vibrant urban developments and the emirate’s stunning coastal landscape. Surrounded by a blend of urban conveniences, the campus is also within close reach of Ras Al Khaimah’s picturesque beaches and the iconic Marjan Island. Its strategic location provides easy access to key business hubs, cultural attractions, and leisure destinations, making it an ideal setting for academic and professional growth.

IAURAK is led by Campus President, Dr. Dawood Jalaluddin Shariff, and Campus Director, Dr. Karthikeyan Veerachamy. Both possess decades of experience in higher education, involved with global recruitment, teaching, research, student services, operations, and academic planning.

Students from the Middle East or South Asia who are unable to come to an IAU campus located in the United States, may opt for IAURAK. Stay tuned for the official grand opening!

IAURAK is accepting its first cohort for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) for the Summer Session 1 intake. If interested in applying to IAURAK, please contact [email protected]c.
