IAU issues student ID cards upon enrollment. The official IAU ID card is non-transferable, remains the property of IAU, and expires when the holder is no longer affiliated with the university.
Replacement cards are subject to an additional fee. See the Duplicate ID Card Request Form for details.
IAU is committed to maintaining student records privacy in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).
Please be aware that altering, creating, otherwise falsifying or tampering with university records, or otherwise misrepresenting one’s academic accomplishments, awards or credentials could result in University sanctions including dismissal or degree revocation, or legal action. This includes, but is not limited to, altering or creating an academic transcript or diploma, and unauthorized use of university documents including letterhead.
Requests are processed Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), excluding holidays.
A transcript is an academic record that includes completed courses, grades received, semester credit hours earned, and cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
Transcripts are commonly required for admissions, immigration purposes, employment applications, professional licensing, and credential evaluations.
IAU offers both official and unofficial transcripts.
Official transcripts are issued directly by the Office of the Registrar and delivered in a sealed envelope or through a secure electronic system to maintain their validity and integrity.
IAU has authorized Parchment Inc. to process transcript orders on behalf of the university. Parchment collects fees and forwards requests to the Office of the Registrar, where transcripts are produced and released. Parchment uses the highest security standards and complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Students may request an electronic or paper transcript via Parchment.
Electronic Transcript: The E-transcript is an official certified PDF sent securely from Parchment to the email address designated while placing the order. It includes the Registrar’s signature and the issue date.
E-transcripts are considered official when sent from Parchment directly to the designated email address.
Paper Transcript: A paper transcript is printed on secure paper and delivered by Parchment in a sealed envelope to the destination designated while placing the order. It includes the Registrar’s signature and the issue date.
Paper transcripts are considered official only if the envelope seal remains unbroken. If the seal is broken, the transcript is considered unofficial.
Students should request paper transcripts for immigration purposes.
Students must clear holds on their record before the Office of the Registrar can process the order. Check myIAU to confirm there are no holds and that all grades, degrees, and changes have been posted.
Go to Parchment and create an account.
First-time users must complete the Consent to Release form.

Shipping fees are subject to change based on carrier rates.
Unofficial transcripts are issued directly by the Office of the Registrar and delivered via email only.
Unofficial transcripts are typically used for personal reference or preliminary application review.
