Dr. Ryan Doan boasts a rich history in higher education administration, commencing his journey in 2001. Prior to his pivotal role at International American University (IAU) in 2005, Dr. Doan held key positions, such as the Director of Administration at Irvine University, Cerritos, CA, and the Director of Development at California Coast University, Santa Ana, CA.
Since assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer at IAU in 2005, Dr. Doan has played a crucial role in shaping the institution. His contributions include steering IAU through the intricacies of gaining government approvals, establishing a robust operational infrastructure, formulating comprehensive policies and procedures, fostering student growth, and securing institutional accreditation with the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).
Under Dr. Doan’s visionary leadership, IAU has expanded its reach, establishing satellite campuses in Orange County and San Diego. Furthermore, the institution has extended its global footprint with international satellite campuses in Nepal, Mongolia, and Vietnam.
