M.Sc Odgiiv’s professional passion is to improve the quality of education in Mongolia and prepare future ethical and professional leaders in their respective fields.
Enkhmurun Odgiiv strongly desires to improve the education quality in Mongolia as her family is 4 generation educators in Mongolia. She grew up during the period of socialism to democracy transparency where her parents had to shut down their business. After that, she moved to the shabby area with no running water and a wooden toilet outside of the house which sometimes she had to use candles to study. Her biggest motivation to improve the quality and affordable education started when she witnessed her high school friends weren’t able to continue their studies due to financial difficulties they had to work to provide for their families. Despite being top students in their subjects. Faced with reality she managed to study well and get a scholarship to study abroad.
Before joining, the International American University (IAU) in 2021, Ms. Odgiiv worked as a medical education research assistant at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Chang Gung University, Taiwan. Enkhmurun is also founder of Good Foundation Forming which aims to prepare students to get a scholarship to study abroad. She is the author of the “Worldwide Scholarship Guideline A-Z”. She is also part of the United People Global Sustainable Leader group which encourages community leaders to work towards UN sustainable goals.
