IAU equipped me with strong problem-solving and research skills that I used during my CPT to help save my company money. Professors Vahick, Sanaz, and Michael were especially impactful, each teaching practical lessons I’ll carry forward. I also appreciated the hybrid classes and support from staff like Marie.

Most of my Professors were exceptional during my career at IAU, I would love to mention a few of them accordingly. Professor Vahid Yedgarian taught me to manage a business effectively even in times of scarce resources, Professor Sanaz taught me to implement Information systems that improve business operations, while professor Michael was the engine behind my strategies to achieve customer’s satisfaction.
The activities with professor Sanaz were inspiring as they taught me to make research with recent findings from various trustworthy sources including the University’s library. She always said “you must provide citations from recent scholar sources within 5 years in APA format.”
The job fairs and professional tips provided by Marie helped me build confidence and kept on an eye level.
I loved my hybrid classes, it made me get used to using technology to improve teamwork performance, we worked in groups online and delivered successful results.
I’m currently applying for OPT and I believe I will be among the best candidates.
