IAU is entering Nepal for international collaboration with a partner institution, Model Institute of Technology (MIT), Kathmandu.
IAU has already received approval from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), Nepal to run its program through its affiliate college, Model Institute of Technology (MIT). To begin with, MIT will be announcing admission for the Master of Business Administration, IAU’s most popular program. Other programs in the works are Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Computer Science, Master of Information Technology, Master of Computer Science. Nepal is setting itself to be a future IT outsourcing country and equipping its citizens with the appropriate IT and CS education and training will create a more competitive workforce.
MIT will be running the IT and CS programs as Affiliate Satellite Campus (ASC) of IAU with the approval of TRACS (Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools), a member agency of CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation). IAU’s President, Dr. Ryan Doan, and MIT’s Chairman, Mr. Surendra Subedi, will work closely with their respective teams to bring these programs into effect soon.
