IAU Continues Procedural Adaptation Effective Fall 2022-2023

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released Frequently Asked Questions for SEVP Stakeholders about COVID-19 on April 18, 2022. In light of this update, IAU will submit a procedural change plan to SEVP. If you are an F-1 status student, the following changes may affect your study at IAU. The legal status of IAU’s F-1 students is a priority.

Effective Fall 2022 through 2023, all F-1 students are required to study at least one course in classroom-hybrid mode of instruction. The remaining courses may be studied via online mode of instruction.

IAU has been holding campus classes between 2020 and 2022 with all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-recommended COVID guidelines in place. Anyone who enters IAU’s facility must scan a temperature reading, wear a mask, and maintain social distance at all times. IAU takes the matter of its community’s health and safety seriously. IAU wishes to reassure its students that IAU will comply with any federal, state, or local requirements, as well as adhere to CDC-recommended COVID guidelines.

Please speak with your student support advisor for any questions. They can be contacted at [email protected].
