IAU provides undergraduate and graduate certificate and degree programs in business administration and accounting. IAU can ensure a concentrated faculty body, specialized curriculum, and rich student-faculty interaction. The school’s curriculum was a matter of harnessing current business and organizing it to fit in a classroom format. When pursuing church ministry, I always thought teaching would be a part of my vocation. Little did I know that working in education would come to dominate my calling and be my career, both as an instructor and as an administrator. While I continue doing very limited pastoral work as an ordained deacon, my everyday job for the past twenty or so years has been in higher ED administration. The job of a deacon is one of service, but also has its educational aspects in preaching, directing retreats, promoting religious education, and offering catechesis & faith enrichment. People often ask me “when did you move to Los Angeles?”, and by that, what they really mean is “when did you start pursuing acting?” LA is such a mirage that thousands land here each day, from all around the world, to pursue that ever elusive dream of being on the silver screen. That’s why anyone who is here in acting “must have” come here to LA to pursue acting. I didn’t.
When reflecting on the journey of the past 7 years, a journey through academics, work, family and faith, it is amazing to realize the capacity of the human being and our ability to find balance in our lives. I completed my Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University in April 2017, a journey which included many challenges of managing full time employment, raising 3 children, balancing my relationship with my wife and during my final steps, caring for and saying goodbye to my father and grandmother.
Everything I do today is inextricably linked to my past and our family values. Everything. I have faced revolution, war, property losses, financial disasters, and difficulties, but they all made me a “tough guy”. None of these, however, made me tough enough to face my darling wife’s unexpected life-threatening illness: cancer. Despite her health condition, she supported me to continue my studies. I vividly remember sitting in her doctor’s office while the doctor explained her findings to us. All this “tough guy” could do was cry!
Domestic professors in America play a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic and enriching educational environment. I graduated from Moscow in 1988 with a Ph.D. in economics and strategic planning. During my practical life, I worked in different countries: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Bahrain, and now in the US. I speak three languages Russin, Arabic, and English. Knowing these three languages gives me access to other languages in the same group. The Russian language gives me access to the Slovenian group of languages such as Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Poland, and the other languages of all eastern European countries. I published media articles in several newspapers in Bahrain.
In Jordan, I participated in government programs for small businesses. I participated in studies conducted by the Ministry of Planning of Jordan; it was about activating the administrative governor’s role in the social-economic development of provinces. Dr. Farnoush Asnaashari a.k.a. Dr. Nina Asna considers herself a citizen of the world. She is from the planet Earth, and her religion is Humanity. She was born in Tehran, Iran but left the country and worked as an expatriate in many countries, and traveled and lived across the globe. She started her career as a young engineer for giant international telecommunication companies and built her way up to project management in her early 20s. At the age of 25, she gained PMP certification and her international experience kicked off. She has managed many multi-million dollar telecom projects in different continents.
Later in her 30s, she decided to continue her education in business administration in the United States and achieved her MBA and DBA with a 4.0 GPA. During her MBA program, she found a student job at a mid-size company and soon enough was promoted to the Director of Operations managing over 50 staff. She transformed the organization to higher employee productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
While being a student at IAU, she helped many students in teams’ assignments and she is passionate to share her knowledge, experiences, and challenges with other international students through teaching to help them achieve their goals in the United States.

In addition, his passion for writing has taken him back to New York after graduation where he worked at several book publishers, one of them Hippocrene Books, Inc., on major memoir and non-fiction projects. In addition, while earning his M.A., Mr. Danielak worked with prolific Argentine-Armenian poet Alicia Ghiragossian and her non-profit human rights organization where he published his first book: Alicia G: The Poet Philosopher of the New Millennium (2009) which explored Alicia’s unique brand of poetry and the awareness her literature spreads about human rights issues around the world. The link between writing and promoting positive social change is one of the cornerstones of Mr. Danielak’s teaching philosophy. In the classroom, Mr. Danielak strives to instill his students with confidence in writing and the Language Arts as well as with an appreciation for the flourishing uses of writing and literature in our individual lives and in our society today. After the dot com collapse at the turn of the millennium, professor Lloyd migrated to the real estate finance industry where he worked as a mortgage banker, and later partnered with a friend in the industry to launch a branch office in Hawaii for his then California-based employer.

This statement could not ring truer, as it’s the best way to describe me and my career destiny. From a young age, my intrinsic passions have been people and learning. This was reflected in my studies when I pursued a bachelor’s and master’s degree –in Communications. Shocking, I know.
From my master’s program, I continued my quest for learning and working with people in higher education where I served as a career counselor, academic advisor, and adjunct professor. In the role of a professor, I taught my favorite subjects: people, culture, and, of course, Communications.

My life mantra is inspired by a Victor Frankl, a Holocaust concentration camp survivor. He stated, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” He felt that wherever we go we can find our own happiness. If we find ourselves in a situation where we are not happy, we then have to change ourselves.

His experience includes working directly with such monetary institutions as the IMF, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Asian Development Bank, Morgan Stanley, and major global players in industries ranging from oil to agriculture to healthcare.
From his past work in economic development and project finance, he has vast experience in assisting companies to build business partnerships across borders, secure financing and lines of credit, and negotiating international contracts. Dr. Jinan Ziade earned her doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Information System Technology from the University of Phoenix (UoPx). She holds an MBA and BIST. Also, a Graduate Executive Leadership Transformation Certificate in Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Management from Georgetown University. Additionally, she is a postdoc research fellow and an active research member of the Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research at UOPX Research at UoPx. She has published several journal articles that have also been presented at national and international conferences (ASEE, ICSB, among others). Dr. Ziade was invited to serve as an abstract reviewer and conference moderator for ASEE.
Dr. Ziade has over ten years of experience teaching in the Business and Management department and has proficiently guided scholars across multiple universities in helping students complete their graduate degree requirements. AHMED HAMDI ABO ABSA received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2018. The B.S. degree in electrical engineering is from the Islamic University in 2005. His M.S. degree in computer science was obtained from the University of Northern Virginia in 2007, and he earned another M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Islamic University.

Mohammad Adm is an assistant professor of mathematics at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Physics, at Palestine Polytechnic University. In 2009 and 2012, he was awarded two scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to attain master’s and doctoral degrees in mathematics from The University of Jordan in Jordan and the University of Konstanz in Germany, respectively. In January 2016, he received his doctoral degree in mathematics from the University of Konstanz in Germany with the highest grade summa cum laude. In May 2016, under the program Bridge Fellowship, he was also awarded a fellowship by the Zukunftskolleg (excellence center of research) at the University of Konstanz. From May to August 2016, he worked as a researcher at the Zukunftskolleg at the University of Konstanz, and during the winter semester of 2016/2017, he restarted his academic career as an assistant professor at the Palestine Polytechnic University in Palestine. Finally, he had the great honor to be awarded a postdoctoral fellowship by the DAAD under the distinguished program Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience (P.R.I.M.E.), which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Union. The support is provided for 18 months of which the first 12 months (01.02.2017 – 31.01.2018) were spent at the University of Regina in Canada and the remaining 6 months (01.02.2018 – 31.07.2018) at the University of Konstanz in Germany serving as a reintegration phase. In 2018 and among more than 400 applicants from Germany and the Arab world, Dr. Adm among 13 scientists was selected for membership in the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA). Dr. Adm was able to solve some challenging mathematical problems; A conjecture, which was posed in 1982 by Prof. Dr. Garloff. Dr. Adm has more than twenty papers that were published in leading journals of linear algebra and matrix theory. Moreover, he worked as a legal advisor at Geneva International Centre for Justice (GICJ) in Switzerland, especially with regard to the situation of Iraq in the Middle East and the position of international humanitarian law regarding the violations that occur in these regions, as well as studying the legal status of minorities in different regions of the world, and the role of the United Nations Human Rights Council, and ways in which NGOs contribute to the United Nations system.
And he give a lecture on international law at the Practising Law Institute (PLI) in New York on a very delicate topic within the framework of international human rights law, entitled international investigations into maritime accidents and the Position of international agreements on these developments, for a group of lawyers from international law firms and various government sectors within the United States of America.
He also published research on the American JASTA law and its impact on US international relations in general and on US-Saudi relations in particular and its impact on diplomatic law.

Dhurba Prasad Timalsina is an accomplished academician and author with a robust career in education and literary creation. Born on August 10, 1986, in Nepal, he has dedicated his life to education, social service, and literary pursuits. Dhurba’s journey in education began with a strong academic foundation, earning multiple degrees, including three master’s degrees: an M.A. in English, an M.A. in Political Science, and an M.P.A. from Tribhuvan University. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Education and a Bachelor’s in Arts with majors in English and Sociology.
Currently, Dhurba serves as the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and a faculty member at Kathmandu Model College (KMC), Bagbazar, Kathmandu. His extensive experience includes roles as an author and editor at Guinness Publications and Sunrise Publications, where he has been contributing since 2010. Dhurba has also held significant positions such as the Academic Head at Southwestern State College and United Education Foundation, enhancing his expertise in curriculum development and educational management. He has also served as the faculty member in different colleges in Nepal. He is also working as the academic consultant in various academic institutions in Nepal.
Dhurba’s commitment to educational development is evident through his participation in numerous workshops and training sessions.
