Join us in celebrating your academic achievements at the International American University Commencement Ceremony 2025. This annual event honors the hard work and dedication of our graduates, offering a memorable occasion to mark the culmination of your educational journey.

The ceremony will take place at The Ebell of Los Angeles, 4401 West 8th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90005 on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM PT.

Eligibility Criteria for Student Participation:

  • IAU Alumni (Past Graduate)

  • Conditionally approved for graduation and have received my Conditional Graduation Letter.

  • On track to completing my program by 2026 Spring Session 1 and maintaining a CGPA of 2.0 (Certificate/Associate /Bachelor) or 3.0 (Master/Doctor)

When is the deadline to register?

The registration deadline is May 1, 2025.

How much does participation cost?

Participation in the commencement ceremony costs $150. Payment can be made through our website https://iaula.edu/make-payment/.

What is included in the commencement participation cost?

Participating students will receive the graduation regalia set along with their guest tickets to the venue.

How many guests can I bring?

You can set the number of guests you wish to invite. Please enter the number of guests in the RSVP form. (As seats fill up, there may be a limit on the number of guests.)

Can I invite guests from outside of the U.S.?

Yes, you can invite guests from outside of the U.S. Please ensure they have the necessary travel documentation and arrangements. To request an invitation letter for your overseas guests, please upload a copy of your guests’ valid passports to the RSVP form.

What should I bring to the ceremony?

Participants do not need to bring anything to the ceremony except their graduation regalia. Please arrive dressed in your regalia.

How should I dress for the ceremony?

We recommend business-casual formal wear underneath your graduation regalia. This ensures you look your best for the occasion.

When can I pick up my commencement ceremony package?

Information about when and where you can pick up your commencement ceremony package will be emailed to you. Feel free to email [email protected] if you have any questions.

When should I arrive at the venue?

Students should arrive at the venue on the day of the ceremony at 9:00 AM to participate in the ceremony’s rehearsal. Guests may arrive anytime, as long as they are seated by 11:00 AM.

I am currently living abroad. Can I participate in the Commencement Ceremony?

Yes, absolutely. If necessary, IAU will issue an invitation letter to facilitate your participation.

I graduated from IAU a long time ago, but I have never attended a graduation ceremony. Can I participate in the 2025 Commencement Ceremony?

Yes, certainly. Regardless of the year you graduated, any IAU alumni who have never previously participated in a graduation ceremony are eligible to participate in the 2025 graduation ceremony.
