On August 22, 2023, Dr. Tran Viet Anh, Vice Chairman of the University Council and Permanent Deputy Rector of Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City (DHV), embarked on a significant visit to the International American University (IAU) campuses in Los Angeles, California, and its two campuses in Irvine and San Diego, USA.
Prior Experience Learning (PEL) allows students to earn credit for skills gained during the course of their professional careers through documented evidence that outlines the work they have done and what they have learned on the job.
IAU launched the Doctor of Management (DM) program in Summer Session 2, 2002. The program has been offered exclusively only online internationally. Although a new program, the DM already underwent a revamp spearheaded by Program Chair, Dr. Alex Sherm.
IAU has received adjudication from the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) and is able to issue the Form I-20 for English language training. IAU will be offering an English as a Second Language (ESL) program for F-1 students this upcoming Fall 2023.
The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) enacted the Procedural Adaptation in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 national emergency, allowing modified attendance for F-1 students. However, SEVP plans to end the Procedural Adaptation on May 11, 2023.
