BPPE COMPLIANCE INSPECTION, 0 FINDINGS

The State of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) is a unit of the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) charged with regulation of private postsecondary educational institutions operating in the state of California. Every few years the BPPE conducts an Announced Compliance Inspection on Approved institutions.

The BPPE Announced Compliance Inspection is a two-step process. The first step requests the institution to submit specific documentation to the Bureau for compliance review, called a “desk review”. The second step consists of an on-site inspection. If there are any minor violations outstanding at the end of the on-site inspection, a Notice to Comply is issued against the institution.

Michelle Loo, Enforcement Inspection Analyst of the Department of Consumer Affairs conducted an Announced Compliance Inspection with IAU on May 23, 2022. The site visit took several hours. At the conclusion of the on-site inspection, IAU was informed that there were no findings and was praised on how well-organized its student and faculty files were. Check here for results.

Great job, IAU Team!
