This page is intended to help news agencies, IAU Partners, campuses, and offices communicate university brand and values transparently and consistently while aligning with the university’s mission, values, and global branding standards. This page also ensures that media and press-related content maintains professionalism, clarity, and inclusivity across all university-affiliated platforms.

All communications of IAU brand in social media, events, and mass media, to be guided by the following principles:

  • Professional yet approachable – IAU is authoritative in business education, and communicates with respect and equality to everyone as a reliable and supportive partner.
  • Inspiring and aspiring – IAU is focused on the community achievements and future success of everyone participating, engaging, or orbiting the IAU community.
  • Inclusive and respectful – IAU communicates inclusively and with the same level of respect to anyone in a way that welcomes students, professionals, faculty, and partners of any country, religion, gender, and race.
 
  • In external communications IAU follows FTC disclosure guidelines for testimonials and endorsements.
  • IAU follows BPPE California Code of Regulations for for-profit schools in aspects of truth in advertising, clear tuition disclosures, and information available on the website.
  • All photos, videos, and recordings used by IAU in communications are covered by the consent agreement set forth in the Catalog (p.117-118). In accordance with it, all images, recordings, and related media captured by or for IAU are the exclusive property of the university. IAU holds the copyright and all associated intellectual property rights, and may use such media for any lawful educational, promotional, or commercial purpose according to Photo Release Policy.
 

Relevance
All publicly available content intended to support IAU’s Christian values, academic mission, programs, community initiatives, and institutional priorities.

Authority and Accuracy
Content and press releases must accurately represent the university community, campuses, or offices. Making statements on behalf of IAU or IAU entities (campuses, offices, partners, etc.) is strictly prohibited unless authorized to do so.

Alignment with IAU Policies
All published content should be aligned with IAU’s Code of Conduct.

 
IAU will periodically review and update guidelines to reflect evolving best practices. Campuses and other IAU entities are responsible for staying informed about changes and integrating them into workflows.

Commercial photography or videography on campus requires adherence to IAU’s Code of Conduct on university facilities.

Public Spaces
News photography and video recording are allowed in outdoor areas and common spaces without prior approval. However, notifying IAU administration in advance is recommended to assist with logistics and inform relevant campus units.

Restricted Areas
Filming or photography in classrooms, offices, laboratories, residence halls, and dining areas requires prior permission. Requests for access should be submitted to IAU.

Approved Media Sources
Only images and videos created by IAU personnel or licensed for university use are approved for use in university promotional materials.

IAU maintains a repository of official photographs and media assets cleared for licensed use.

Contact the Media team at [email protected] to request access to specific images or other media resources, as well as for multimedia content license permissions and approval.

 

All content shared on IAU-affiliated platforms should reflect accuracy, professionalism, and respect for intellectual property. To maintain consistency and avoid legal or reputational risks, publishing entity is expected to follow these practices:

  • Avoid duplicating content from other IAU or partner sites. Instead, link to the original content.
  • Do not republish external material without permission to avoid creating legal challenges.
  • Use only verified and approved sources when sharing information, news, and announcements.
 

Visual Identity
Both IAU and external entities should follow IAU’s Visual Branding Guidelines for logos, colors, typography, and layout standards. Consistency in design reinforces the university’s global identity and builds trust. See Visual Brand Guidelines (Public).

 

Logo

These logos may be used for digital and print media and marketing materials. All these are to be used in three colors only: Blue #1A64B7, Black #151515, and White #FEFEFE. See examples below on how to use them.

Hierarchy: Bold SemiboldNormal.

Use Bold for headers and sub-headers. Use Semibold for highlighted text. Use Normal for body text. Adjust font sizes accordingly for hierarchy.

Editorial Style

  • All written content to be ensured for use proper grammar and spelling, and maintaining a clear, professional, and consistent tone that aligns with IAU’s communication statements.
  • Inclusive language that reflects the university’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to be used.
 

Before publishing, all content must be reviewed and approved to ensure it is aligned with IAU’s branding, communication standards, and university policies. Internal and external partners and entities are encouraged to submit their content for review and approval.
